Dee Young, BHT-Women’s IOP Clinician
Due to her HP and the 12 step program saving her life and relationships with her daughters and family, Dee became passionate about Recovery and started her journey working in the field of addictions in Northern California by attending CAAR Institute in Sacramento specializing in Addictions. Over the last twenty years she has had the opportunity to provide services to clients starting in her career by Managing a Sober living home for adult men on probation and IPS, working with the Criminal Justice Department at the AZ State Prison in Kingman, AZ, working as an Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor at the Chemehuevi Reservation and Indian Health Services and several Inpatient and IOP facilities throughout the years. Dee says it was a privilege to work at the Meadows and receive training from Pia Melody and Claudia Black where she worked as a Family and Primary Therapist gaining knowledge to treat ED clientele and address Childhood Trauma, FOO issues along with chemical addictions. Dee says this is not a job for her, this is what she loves to do, help others.
